78° Ginger Ale Cask Whiskey showcases our preferred whiskey mixer, Fever Tree’s Spiced Orange Ginger Ale to compliment and build upon the flavours of our award-winning 78° Australian Whiskey.
Crafted sustainably at our home in the Adelaide Hills, this release sees a limited batch of 78° Australian Whiskey finished in a cask that held Fever Tree Spiced Orange Ginger Ale prior. The result is a complex blend of fresh ginger & festive spices - just in time for Christmas.
When running trials of how best to serve our 78° Australian Whiskey we noted how well the chocolate notes of the whiskey worked with the Spiced Orange and ginger notes of Fever Tree’s Spiced Orange Ginger Ale. Working alongside Fever Tree, we have taken this delicious, premium mixer and filled a 200L cask, leaving it to marry with the wood. We have then taken our aged 78° Australian Whiskey and left it to further mature in this unique cask.
