Created to celebrate the opening of our 78˚ Brisbane bar, Purple Palm. Encompassing the bright, tropical climate of the Sunshine State in this refreshing and delicious gin.
We wanted to capture the flavour of the great state of Queensland in a bottle. Marrying juicy mangoes, pineapples & passionfruit, we have created a gin that is refreshing & delicious.

About 78˚ Sunshine State Gin
Drawing inspiration from Queensland’s famously hot climate & tropical produce, we have combined Queensland mango, pineapple & passionfruit, creating a fun & enticing gin that can be enjoyed whatever the weather.
Rich tropical fruits are balanced with refreshing citrus. Lots of Passionfruit up front, with overipe pineaple dancing across the palate. The sweetness of juicy mango lingers on the finish and makes you want to come back sooner rather than later for the next sip.

30ml Sunshine State Gin
120ml Long Rays Citrus tonic
Garnish with Pineapple wedge & Lemon thyme
Cocktail Recipe
Sunshine Fizz
50ml Sunshine State Gin
30ml Lemon Juice
20ml Sugar Syrup
3 slice pineapple
15ml egg white / Aquafaba
Method
Muddle pineapple in the base of a shaker. Add all ingredients and shake hard for 10 seconds. Strain into highball glass over cubed ice. Top with soda water.
Garnish
Dehydrated pineapple wedge or Giña Colada
